How much does it cost to design a postcard on FuturePosts?

We offer a flat fee of 10 euros for designing your FuturePost, including shipping.

How does it work?

At FuturePosts, you can either create your own postcard right here on our platform or send us a postcard you bought during your vacation. In return, you’ll receive a FuturePost on the future date of your choosing.

Creating a postcard on our platform - How it works

Creating a postcard from scratch is easy and takes just a few minutes:

  • Visit the "Design Your Postcard" page and fill out the form.
  • Step 1: Upload a cover photo.
  • Step 2: Write a message to your future self in the provided text box.
  • Step 3: Upload your favorite picture from your holiday.
  • Step 4: Enter your delivery address and choose the date you’d like to receive your FuturePost.

Once you've completed these steps, you'll be prompted to pay a flat fee of 10 euros, which includes worldwide shipping. After payment, you’ll receive a confirmation email, and your FuturePost will be on its way to you on your selected date.

What about privacy and confidentiality?

We take your privacy seriously. All photos uploaded to our platform are 100% confidential and will never be shared. They are solely used to create the postcard that will be delivered to you. Same goes for the message for your future self. Your privacy will always be respected.

How can I pay?

We accept various payment methods, including credit cards and debit cards. We offer fast and secure payments. The payment option will be available to you after you "Save & Send" the form that opens when you create a FuturePost.

What is the size of a FuturePost?

We offer a large postcard format, perfect for display! Postcards created on our platform will arrive in the A5 format (148 x 210 mm / 5.8 x 8.3 inches).

What is the maximum word count allowed for the message to my future self?

The maximum word count is 300 words to ensure the text fits nicely within the postcard format.

What future delivery dates you offer for my postcards?

The choice is entirely yours! You can select any delivery date, from as soon as 1 month in the future to up to 10 years down the road.

Why is there a flat fee for transforming my postcard into a FuturePost?

The 8 euro flat fee covers the entire process of safely storing your postcard and delivering it back to you on the future date you select. This fee includes worldwide shipping, handling, and secure storage of your postcard until it's time to send it back. If you choose to add an optional digital photo, we’ll include that as well. This all-inclusive fee ensures that your postcard is carefully managed and delivered, allowing you to enjoy your memories just as you intended, without any hidden costs.

How much does it cost to transform a postcard I've bought on vacation into a FuturePost?

We offer a flat fee of 8 euros for transforming a postcard you've bought on vacation into a FuturePost, which includes shipping it back to you. How you send us the postcard is entirely up to you, but please note that we do not reimburse your shipping cost.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, here at FuturePosts we believe that the whole world should be able to smile when receiving a FuturePost. WE SHIP ALL OVER THE WORLD. No worries the shipping fee is included in our flat fees.

Sending us a physical postcard you've bought on vacation to be transformed into a FuturePost - How it works?

If you prefer to send us a postcard you bought on your vacation:

  • Go to the "Transform a Postcard into a FuturePost" page.
  • Fill out your delivery address, add an optional digital photo to accompany your postcard, and choose the date you’d like to receive your FuturePost.

After completing the form, you'll pay a flat fee of 8 euros, which also includes worldwide shipping. You will then receive an email with the address of our P.O. Box. To complete your order, reply to the email with a picture of the receipt from the shipping company you used to send us your postcard. This step is essential to confirm that you’ve sent the postcard, ensuring we can send you your FuturePost.

Why do you only offer a flat fee for creating FuturePosts?

We believe in offering a straightforward and fair pricing model for everyone. Our 10 euro flat fee allows us to provide beautiful, high-quality postcards to customers all over the world. Why do I need to pay for the shipping when sending my postcard to you?

Since shipping costs can vary greatly depending on your location and the shipping company you choose, we ask that customers cover the cost of sending their postcard to us. This allows you the flexibility to select the shipping method that best suits your needs and budget. By handling the initial shipping, we can focus on providing a consistent, high-quality service, including secure storage and worldwide delivery of your FuturePost on the date you choose.

In the unlikely event that this happens due to shipping errors (time-travel can be difficult sometimes:) we have a policy called "100% simile guarantee" ! Just let us know and we will ship again free of charge!
